This policy covers TransChat for Android, including advertising and monthly subscriptions. TransChat does not operate a developer-owned server for chat text.

Text fields and Accessibility access

When you tap or hold the floating button, TransChat uses Android Accessibility access to identify the focused editable field, read only that field's current draft, and insert the translated draft there. It does not read earlier chat messages or press a send button. It retains the field's app package name and limited operation status locally for diagnostics; it does not send that diagnostic record to UsefulFactory.

Translation, speech, and Google account

Text that you choose to translate, including corrected speech transcripts, is sent over HTTPS to the translation servers for translation. Google's unpaid translation API terms permit Google to use submitted text and responses to improve its services, and human reviewers may process them. Do not use the free service for sensitive, confidential, or personal information. Voice input is handled through the speech recognition service selected on your Android device; that provider may receive or process audio under its own terms. TransChat does not save raw audio.

Google sign-in provides the access token used to set up a dedicated Google Cloud project in your account (or reopen the one TransChat created before, for example after reinstalling), enable the required APIs, create an API key limited to this Android app and translation generation, and check that billing is not connected. TransChat stores the connected email address and project identifier locally to restore your session. The access token and API key are held in memory and are not written to app logs or local files. The Google Cloud permission requested by the sign-in screen is broader than the operations the app performs; review the permission screen before agreeing.

TransChat's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through the Google Cloud permission is used only for the operations above, is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not transferred to UsefulFactory or other parties.

Advertising and monthly subscriptions

The advertising edition displays AdMob banners while the app is open and offers rewarded ads for temporary translation access. Google's advertising SDK collects and shares IP addresses (which can estimate approximate location), app and ad interactions, performance diagnostics, app-set and other applicable device/account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. TransChat removes the Android advertising ID permission. Removing that permission does not prevent the other SDK data collection. App code never supplies chat text or speech transcripts to the advertising SDK. SDK traffic is encrypted using TLS. Where required, the Google consent screen appears before advertising, with privacy options available in settings.

Google Play handles payment for an automatically renewing monthly ad-removal subscription. TransChat receives purchase status, product identifiers and purchase receipts; it does not receive your card or bank details. A SHA-256 identifier derived from your verified Google account ID is sent to Google Play to associate the purchase with your app login. The app verifies signed receipts and queries active Play subscriptions on startup and during use. Restore requires the original purchasing Play account and the same Google account in TransChat. Subscription access is held in memory and cleared on logout or process restart; verified account identifiers are kept locally for sign-in restoration. Cancel in Google Play to stop future renewals; logging out or uninstalling does not cancel a subscription. While the subscription is active, TransChat does not request banner or rewarded ads.

Storage, security, and deletion

After five successfully inserted translations, TransChat may request the official Google Play rating dialog when you next use the app's main screen. Google Play handles the chosen stars and optional review text; TransChat's review API does not reveal your chosen rating or whether you submitted it. Visibility of reviews follows your app's Google Play release settings. You can delete your review through your Google Play account. Only the successful-use count and last request time are stored locally to avoid repeated prompts.

Language, tone, consent choices, account email, project mapping, and limited operation timing/error categories stay in app storage until you clear app data or uninstall. Source text, translations, and raw audio are not saved in app diagnostic files. Network requests use HTTPS. Google may retain data according to its own policies and the applicable translation API terms.

Log out clears the selected account and local login state without removing your device’s Google account or Cloud project. Disconnect in the app revokes its Google authorization and clears the local session, but does not delete the dedicated Google Cloud project or API key in your account. You can remove those resources in your Google Cloud Console, revoke app access in your Google Account, and clear the app's device data. Children and changes
